Trained at Loughborough in Creative Design and after a lifetime of teaching Art and Design and Technology helping thousands of students to create images and objects, I have now found the time to return to painting and photography.

My biggest influences have been, Peter Welton,David Hockney, Robin Wardle and Andy Goldsworthy - all have treated landscape as colourists often pattern making and have given me the confidence to use colour in my own way.

 I hope that people can see these influences and share the joy of the use of colour that I hope to bring.
